The Queen at 90Queen Elizabeth II's official birthday was marked on June 11th 2016 with the traditional Trooping the Colour ceremony in London. This gallery shows the Queen and her family leaving Buckingham Palace surrounded by all the pomp and pageantry that the British Army could muster. The traditional balcony appearance of the Royal Family is also here for the first time with Princess Charlotte and Prince George together. Six weeks earlier, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her actual 90th birthday on 21 April in Windsor. She went on her well established walkabout in this special town, meeting the public and also specially invited guests. Our gallery shows the Queen enjoying the sunshine as she walks from the new Walkway plaque along to the Guildhall. Her Majesty and Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, then drove back past the crowds standing in their specially converted Range Rover.
