Queen Elizabeth II Dies

1926-2022

Queen Elizabeth II has been the much loved monarch of the United Kingdom since February 1952. She was known the world over simply as "THE QUEEN". A procession was held in London as her coffin was moved to Westminster to Lie in State. King Charles, Prince William, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward walked behind the coffin.

The Queen died on September 8 2022. Her death was only announced to the world at 6pm though it is presumed now that she passed away earlier in the day. Her close family travelled to her Scottish home at Balmoral during the afternoon but her daughter and son Princess Anne and Prince Charles now King Charles III had spent the time with her from the previous evening.
