Queen Elizabeth II

1926-2022

Queen Elizabeth II has been the much loved monarch of the United Kingdom since February 1952. Her husband The Duke of Edinburgh died in April 2021 at Windsor Castle. She was known the world over simply as "THE QUEEN". Floral tributes were left at the gates of Buckingham Palace - her former London home - in Green Park and at memorials all over Britain.
